What it is
Poetry anthologies are organised into clusters — power and conflict, love and relationships, worlds and lives — and within a cluster poems can be grouped by theme.

How it works
Comparison questions give you one poem and let you choose the second, so the preparation is knowing which poems pair on which theme.
How to use it in your work
Build a grid: poems down one side, themes across the top. Tick and annotate. It takes an hour and it is the single most useful revision act for the anthology.
Group by FORM as well as theme. Two sonnets about different subjects can be compared on form alone.
