What it is
A net is the 2D shape that folds into a solid. Plan, front and side elevations are the views from above, the front and the side.

Both tiers.
How it works
Nets are how surface area is understood: the net is the surface, laid out.
Elevations are drawn to scale on squared paper, and hidden edges are shown as they appear, not with perspective.
How to use it in your work
Draw elevations on the grid provided and label which is which.
Check a net folds by counting faces before answering.
Elevations are not drawings of the object — no perspective, no shading.
